Terms of Service

By accessing or using Epitant ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore.

Epitant is a family platform. Only adults aged 18 or older may create accounts. By registering, you confirm that you are the parent or legal guardian responsible for any child profiles you create.

Children must not create accounts directly. Parents are responsible for their child's use of the platform.

• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• You must not share your account with others or allow unauthorised access.
• You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
• Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised use of your account.

Epitant uses artificial intelligence to generate stories, including large language models (Google Gemini, Anthropic Claude) and voice synthesis (ElevenLabs).

• AI-generated stories are created for personal, non-commercial family use.
• You may not use generated stories for commercial purposes without written permission.
• We apply content safety filters, but AI systems are not perfect. If you encounter inappropriate content, please report it immediately via our contact page.
• You retain ownership of custom prompts and inputs you provide.

Stories you create using the "Use My Imagination" feature are treated as user-generated content. By submitting content, you grant Epitant a limited licence to store and process that content solely to deliver the Service to you.

We do not claim ownership of your stories. We do not sell or share your story content with third parties.

You agree not to:

• Submit prompts intended to generate harmful, offensive, or illegal content.
• Attempt to bypass or manipulate content safety filters.
• Use the Service to train competing AI models.
• Scrape, copy, or reproduce platform content at scale.
• Misrepresent your identity or relationship to any child profile.

We support and plan to expand publishing stories to third-party platforms including YouTube, Spotify, and podcast RSS feeds. When new integrations launch, additional terms specific to those integrations will apply and will be disclosed at that time.

The Epitant platform, branding, and underlying technology are owned by Evolwe Pte Ltd. Nothing in these Terms transfers any intellectual property rights to you.

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. While we strive for accuracy and safety in AI-generated content, we do not guarantee that all stories will be error-free or suitable for every child.

Epitant is not a substitute for parental supervision. Parents are encouraged to listen to stories with their children.

To the extent permitted by Singapore law, Evolwe Pte Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time. Upon deletion, your data will be removed within 30 days.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance. We will notify registered users of significant changes by email.
