Epitant is a product of Evolwe Pte Ltd, a company incorporated in Singapore. We build personalised AI audio storytelling experiences for children aged 2–10 and their families.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect your personal data when you use our platform, in accordance with the Singapore Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA) and applicable ASEAN child digital safety guidelines.

We collect the minimum data necessary to provide and improve our service:

• Account data: Name, email address, and profile information collected via Google Authentication (Google OAuth 2.0).
• Child profile data: Child's first name and age range, provided by the parent or guardian, used only to personalise stories.
• Story content: Story prompts, generated story text, and audio files you create on the platform.
• Usage data: Pages visited, features used, and session duration — collected anonymously to improve the product.
• Device data: Browser type, operating system, and general location (country-level) for analytics and safety monitoring.

We do not collect sensitive personal data such as financial details, biometrics, or precise geolocation.

• To create and personalise AI-generated stories for your child.
• To generate audio narration via our third-party voice provider (ElevenLabs).
• To store your story library and preferences securely.
• To improve the platform through anonymised analytics.
• To communicate service updates, if you have opted in.
• To comply with our legal obligations under Singapore PDPA.

We do not use your data to train third-party AI models without your explicit consent.

Stories are generated using large language models (including Google Gemini and/or Anthropic Claude). Your prompts and story inputs are processed by these models to create personalised content.

We apply content safety filters at multiple levels to prevent inappropriate content. All generated stories are designed to be age-appropriate and free from harmful material.

Voice narration is powered by ElevenLabs. Story text is sent to ElevenLabs for audio synthesis. ElevenLabs processes this data in accordance with their own privacy policy. We do not send any personally identifiable information to ElevenLabs.

• Platform integrations: YouTube, Spotify, podcast RSS feeds — integration-specific data handling will be disclosed at the time of each feature launch.

We retain your account and story data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all associated data is removed within 30 days.

Anonymised usage analytics are retained for up to 24 months.

Epitant is a platform for families. We do not allow children to create accounts directly. Only parents or guardians may register and manage child profiles.

We collect only the child's first name and age range — the minimum required to personalise stories. This data is never shared with third parties for marketing purposes.

In compliance with Singapore PDPA and ASEAN child safety guidelines, parents may request access to, correction of, or deletion of their child's data at any time by contacting us.

Under the Singapore Personal Data Protection Act, you have the right to:

• Access personal data we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate personal data
• Withdraw consent for data collection
• Request deletion of your account and data

We use essential cookies for session management and authentication. We may use anonymised analytics to understand platform usage. We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking.

We use industry-standard security measures including HTTPS, secure authentication (OAuth 2.0), and encrypted storage to protect your data. Access to personal data is restricted to authorised personnel only.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify registered users by email of any significant changes. Continued use of Epitant after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
